XPT was founded in January 1999 by Rob Bevan and Tim Wright to develop funny and compelling entertainment projects across a range of existing and emerging consumer platforms on the web, TV and mobile devices.

XPT is 19.5% owned by the UK’s largest ISP, Wanadoo (formerly Freeserve). Over the last five years XPT has have been responsible for some of the UK’s most exciting and innovative interactive media products, including the BAFTA-winning projects ‘MindGym’ and ‘Online Caroline’.

XPT has adapted its interactive writing and design skills for use across a range of educational and adult learning projects, including the BAFTA nominated science-learning web drama ‘Planet Jemma’ and Creative Partnership’s KS3 ‘StorySpinner’ pilot.
