New Media Gameshow

Rob and Tim will be appearing today in Halifax, Nova Scotia at the 25th anniversary Atlantic Film Festival in a New Media Gameshow in which they debate the pros and cons of new media in a gameshow-style setting, together with hosts Steve Comeau and Keith Clarkson.

From the programme notes: “Livelier than your average panel, this event combines the classical debating style of Socrates with the unrefined energy of Jerry Springer. With greater understanding of new media as the panel’s ultimate goal, everyone wins at this game show!”

Update: not unsuprisingly, Tim - advocating the merits of new media - was the winner!
