Mynutes (2000)
Mynutes is a mobile role-playing strategy game, whereby people’s standing within a hierarchical online community is assessed by their performance within a system of ritualised exchanges.
Based on an ancient system of giving and taking, players use their mobile phones to collect, manipulate and exchange pure symbols and short-form content.
Exchanges can take the form of verbal communication, gift giving and taking, the imparting and keeping of secrets, the planting of objects on other persons and the setting of individual challenges.
The resulting collection of Mynutes ‘gifts’ can be combined to reveal secret locations, unravel content mysteries and provide solutions to puzzles.
The goal is to become the ultimate Mynutes master and acquire the ultimate Mynutes ‘gift’ - everything you ever wanted!
